I am a research scientist specializing in the field of geosciences, with a background in materials science and mechanical engineering. My research focuses on the application of X-ray computed tomography (XCT) for the quantitative analysis of geological and biological materials. I have co-developed and utilized numerous software tools to process and analyze XCT data. I actively engage in mentorship, teaching, and outreach activities, including organizing and instructing short courses on 3D quantitative analysis using CT for both geological and biological applications. I aim to continue to contribute to the understanding and characterization of complex geological materials through advanced XCT imaging techniques.
