What will students do?

Students will learn introductory chemistry, calculus, and physics (NEW this summer!) lessons from current PhD students at the College of Natural Sciences at UT. Throughout the week they will also have multiple opportunities to learn professional development skills, hear from current undergrads about the transition to college, and get connected with helpful on-campus resources! Students who complete the program will also receive a stipend of up to $500.

Who can apply?

Applicants should be recent GeoFORCE alumni who completed the 12th grade academy in Summer 2023 and will be entering their first year of college in the fall. Students who had an excused absence for Summer 2023 and did not attend the 12th grade program are also welcome to apply. This is the perfect program for students who will be majoring in a STEM field in fall 2024.
