The GSC consists of faculty and research scientists who are active participants in the Jackson School of Geosciences graduate program at The University of Texas at Austin. The GSC recommends students for admission to the program, sets program-specific requirements for the graduate degrees in geosciences, and recommends students for admission to candidacy for degrees.
