I am a Ph.D. student at the Jackson School of Geosciences of The University of Texas at Austin and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Geophysics.
My current research interests include seismology, shear zone structures, shear wave splitting, anisotropy, and modeling. We aim to constrain the seismological and mechanical properties of a set of major continental transform faults by integrating seismological observations (such as shear wave splitting) and modeling methods.
I also focused on earthquake focal mechanisms and seismogenic structures during my Master's degree with a research project related to the seismogenic properties of the Taiwan Strait.
