I am pursuing a Masters degree in Geosciences at the Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin. Under the advisement of Dr. Brent Elliott, I am a Graduate Research Assistant at the Bureau of Economic Geology and study rare earth element (REE) transport mechanisms in the laccoliths of West Texas, focusing on the Sierra Blanca Complex.
I completed a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Earth Science at UC Santa Barbara.
My current research examines whether the vapor-phase crystallization process responsible for REE-fluoride mineralization at Round Top, one of the few recognized HREE resource prospects for US critical mineral production, extends across the broader five-laccolith complex or is unique to Round Top itself.
