Naïm is a Research Assistant Professor at the Bureau of Economic Geology. He earned his MSc degree in geology from ENSEGID – Bordeaux INP (France) in 2016, and his PhD in Geology from the University of Pau and the Adour Countries (France) in 2020. He specializes in structural geology, salt tectonics, basin analysis and fold-and-thrust belts. Before joining the Bureau in 2025, Naim spent four years working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pau, the French Geological Survey and TotalEnergies.
