A comprehensive approach to friend and fund raising for UT geosciences.

The Development & Alumni Relations is working with our friends and alumni to build the strongest geosciences alumni network and academic institution in the world.  We are your go-to source for engaging with the Jackson family through events, re-connecting with the 40 acres or making a gift to support future geosciences leaders. Please consider making a gift of your time, talents or treasure to advance the mission of the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin within the context of development and alumni relations.

Maxine Rodriguez

Maxine Rodriguez

Development and Alumni Relations Work-Study Intern

Maxine is the Development and Alumni Relations Work Study Intern for the Jackson School of Geosciences. She was born and raised down south, near the border in Mission, Texas. Besides Mission having such vibrant Hispanic cultures, it is known as for its citrus and for all the football fanatics, where Tom Laundry was born. She is a first-generation student at UT and is currently an Undergraduate Studies major, but is leaning towards Human Dimensions of an Organization. Although she is far away from home, she hopes UT Austin and the Jackson School of Geosciences become her second home.
