Andrew West is the Chief Development Officer for the Jackson School of Geosciences. In this role, he oversees all development and alumni relations activities for the Jackson School. Andrew has spent the past seven years here on campus in the University Development Office supporting initiatives in the College of Fine Arts as well as other programs across campus. He is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a lifelong Austinite. Andrew lives in North Austin with his wife Mandy and daughter Abigail.

Belle is the Executive Director of Foundation Relations for the Jackson School of Geosciences. She serves as the liaison between the Jackson School of Geosciences and the Texas Development Foundation Relations team to collaboratively raise funds for geosciences research and programmatic outreach. She is a fifth generation Texan who holds a B.A. from UT Austin and a M.P.A. from Angelo State University. Having worked and lived abroad, she brings a global perspective to the Jackson School.

 

Lucy Allman

Lucy’s role is the Director of Development for Major Gifts. In this position she is responsible for raising philanthropic support for the Jackson School of Geosciences, focusing on major gift donors. Lucy has five years of experience supporting higher education institutions through philanthropy. She holds a B.A. from University of North Dakota and an M.P.A. from Penn State University.

 

Meg Guerra

Meg Guerra joined the University of Texas in September 2021 as the Director of Gift Planning for the Jackson School of Geosciences and the College of Natural Sciences. She spent 18 years practicing real estate and oil and gas law, followed by fundraising at the Texas Wildlife Association Foundation. With her extensive background in land work, Meg will be assisting donors interested in gifting their real estate to UT, and with the expansion of the UT Field Station Network. She is an avid outdoorswoman and lives in Gruene, Texas with her husband, and two children, Emme (12) and Miles (9).

Kristen oversees corporate relations at the Jackson School. In this role, she works strategically with industry partners to maximize their philanthropic impact and to increase collaborative opportunities between companies and The University of Texas at Austin. Kristen has a B.S. degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University and over 15 years of experience in nonprofit volunteer management.

Courtney is the Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving for the Jackson School of Geosciences. In this role, she provides leadership and direction to strategic alumni engagement and giving programs for the Jackson School of Geosciences. She has more than 13 years of experience raising awareness and financial support for worthy causes. Courtney holds a B.A. from the Elliott School of International Affairs, The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from The University of Texas, Austin.

Georgia has over 20 years of experience in different aspects of development. She is responsible for overseeing the Donor Relations programs at the Jackson School – including planning the Evening of Thanks and the Scholars Luncheon, our annual events that recognize and thank donors. Georgia also manages the Geology Foundation Advisory Council meetings. She is a lifelong Longhorn and loves being on campus every day.

Nina Staeben is the Donor and Alumni Engagement Coordinator for the Jackson School of Geosciences. In this role she supports the gift officers with event management, stewardship, and other projects. Nina began working at the University of Texas in 2019 at the College of Fine Arts and has a history of fundraising and management in the nonprofit professional arts sector. Nina holds a B.A. in English from the College of William & Mary and enjoys supporting the vibrant arts community of Austin in her spare time.
