Cheers to a Great Night in Houston!

The Jackson School Houston Chapter Friends and Alumni social on July 17 brought together a terrific crowd for an evening of good conversation, cold beer, and renewed connections. Hosted by Houston Chapter Director Tom Etzel and Friends and Alumni President-Elect Sam Shrull, the event was a fun and relaxed way to catch up with fellow alums and friends in the area.

We loved seeing familiar faces like Patricia Ascanio-Pellon (M.S. ’23), Nysha Chaderton (M.S. ’05, Ph.D. ‘09), Diana Eldam (B.S. ’12), Nabiel Eldam (B.S. ’08, M.S. ’12), Katherine Garcia (M.S. ’23), Christi Gell (B.S. ’96), Charlie Gell  (M.A. ’96), Peter Gold (Ph.D. ’18), Matt Ramos (Ph.D. ’18), Lauren Redmond (M.S. ’16) and David Tang (Ph.D. ’20), Logan West (M.S. ‘’4, Ph.D. ’20) and many others. From recent grads to longtime supporters, the energy and enthusiasm for the Jackson School were unmistakable. Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Texas’s oldest craft brewery, provided the perfect backdrop for the evening, with its welcoming beer hall atmosphere and views of downtown Houston.
