Professor Zong-Liang Yang Elected an AGU Fellow

We’re delighted to share that Professor Zong-Liang Yang has been elected as a 2025 Fellow of the American Geophysical Union, one of the highest honors in Earth and space sciences. This distinction is awarded to less than 0.1% of AGU members each year and recognizes individuals whose work has made exceptional, lasting contributions to the field.

Jackson School Graduate Students Recognized as Top Teaching Assistants
We’re proud to share that two Jackson School doctoral students—Sophia Bautista and Jackie Epperson—were recognized this summer with the National Association of Geoscience Teachers’ Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.
