Greenbaum Receives Fulbright

Jamin Greenbaum, a research associate at the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics, received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award to study coastal ice melting in East Antarctica.

“The award means a great deal to me because I see it as a platform to enhance the interdisciplinary and intercultural linkages that began with our earlier projects,” he said. A veteran of 12 Antarctic expeditions, Greenbaum will spend the 2019-2020 academic year in Shanghai, where he hopes to grow Antarctic research programs between China and the U.S.
