Indian Ocean May Be the Reason for Climate Shift in Future, Says a Study
December 13, 2018
The established theories on tropical climate change revolve heavily around the Pacific Ocean. However, a study, done by researchers from the University of Texas at Austin in the US, may re-write the narrative as it opens up the possibility of the Indian Ocean being a greater player in driving climate change during the last ice age. The study also points towards the possibility of disruption of the tropical climate again in the future, and it may also have a link to the Indian Ocean.
