Touma Wins Women in Science Incentive Prize

Danielle Touma, a research assistant professor at the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics, was one of five scientists named a 2024 Women In Science Incentive Prize winner by The Story Exchange, a nonprofit media platform.

This grant program supports women scientists working to combat the effects of climate change. Each winner was given $5,000 to continue their work.

The winners were selected after a rigorous scientific review by judges from several universities, as well as an assessment by The Story Exchange editors.
