Research Assistant Professor

Naïm Celini is a research assistant professor at the Bureau of Economic Geology. He earned a Master of Science in geology from ENSEGID – Bordeaux INP (France) in 2016 and a doctoral degree in geology from the University of Pau and the Adour Countries (France) in 2020.

He specializes in structural geology, salt tectonics, basin analysis and fold-and-thrust belts. Before joining the bureau in August 2025, Celini spent four years working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pau, the French Geological Survey and TotalEnergies.
