A new science video series produced by the Jackson School of Geosciences and the Moody College of Communication is gaining steam, with a total of six episodes now available to watch online.
The series — called Hot Science TV — is a spin-off of the popular public lecture series Hot Science, Cool Talks that Jay Banner, a professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, has been running for over two decades.
Each episode of Hot Science TV features a Hot Science, Cool Talks speaker and their research, which ranges from the habitability of Mars to the evolution of beauty.
“There’s no shortage of brilliant scientists doing exciting work who are great communicators to feature,” Banner said.
