Lettie A. Smith

Lettie received her B.S. in Chemistry (2020) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently a graduate student in the Mullins group at UT Austin. Her research focuses on the preparation and testing of electrocatalytic materials for the hydrogen evolution reaction, the oxygen evolution reaction, and the oxygen reduction reaction. She is interested in using ICP-MS to determine the composition of her materials before and after electrocatalysis.

Raul A. Marquez
Raul received his B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering (2017) and M.Sc. in Chemistry (2020) from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, Mexico. He is currently a Ph.D. student (Chemistry) at UT Austin. His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of electrocatalytic materials for electrochemical water splitting. In addition, he is interested in using novel approaches, such as 3D printing, electrochemical flow reactors, and in situ/operando techniques for developing and characterizing the reaction environment and stability of the materials.
