Adam Papendieck PhD is the Writer in Residence at the University of Texas at Austin’s Jackson School of Geosciences where he strengthens contemporary scientific communication and scholarly practices through teaching and research. Writer in Residence programming integrates (1) direct consultation with students and faculty, (2) demand-driven workshops and learning resources, (3) enhancement of the GEO curriculum with substantive writing and communication experiences, and (4) research and evaluation for pedagogical innovation.
