Biography
Collin Hoffman
Collin Hoffman is a senior undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in General Geology at the University of Texas at Austin. Collin works under Dr. Richard Kyle on Cave Peak related research projects involving resource analysis and geological modeling of the Cave Peak porphyry molybdenum deposit. Currently he is working at the Bureau of Economic Geology on the NGGDPP which involves identification, geolocation, and preservation of information related to historic mining and drilling programs within the state of Texas. During the summer of 2023, Collin interned at Freeport-McMoRan where he worked modeling and geologic explanations for current mine site metallurgical issues.
Juan Vazquez
Juan is currently a senior undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in General Geology at the University of Texas at Austin and is expected to graduate during the Spring of 2024. Juan currently is an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Timothy A. Goudge and works on research related to lunar rille sinusoidal behavior. While ICP-MS is something he has not done before, he is excited to learn about its fundamentals and all of its possible applications.
Diego Mota Milla
Diego is currently a senior undergraduate pursuing a B S in General Geology set to graduate during the spring of 2024 from The University of Texas at Austin. While Diego has never had any experience with ICP-MS, he is currently taking a class on the fundamentals and applications of it.
