Travel grant applications are now open!
Travel Grant Application
With National Science Foundation (NSF) and Jackson School of Geosciences support, travel grants (up to $1,250, actual cost if less) are available for students and early-career researchers (ECR) from United States institutions to attend the workshop in Austin, Texas. Priority is given to applicants with oral presentations and posters. Abstract instructions are here.
Allowable travel grant expenses include:
- Transport (airfare, rental car, mileage)
- Accommodations
- Meal per diems (meals not included with the workshop
Important dates
Applications open April 9.
Applications close May 30.
Acceptance notifications will be sent out June 16.
Instructions
Complete and submit the below grant application form by May 30, 2025 (US Central Time). Please follow the instructions in the grant application for submission.
Grant applications must include a budget and budget justification. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Travel grant funds are made available after the workshop. Travel grant recipients will have 14 days from the last day of the workshop to submit proof of attendance and presentation in order to receive travel grant funding. Please note: funds will not be made available prior to the workshop.
