I am a highly driven Master's student investigating hydraulic fracture morphology, propagation, and segmentation in shales. I work in partnership with the Bureau of Economic Geology as part of the Fracture Research and Application Consortium. My other interests include fracture spatial arrangement and the effects of diagenesis and mechanical stratigraphy on brittle structures. I have much experience in geologic field and lab work, core description, characterization of structural geology and mechanical stratigraphy, project planning and presentation, and ArcGIS and GPS mapping for structural and hydrological applications. I enjoy working with my hands and being able to apply my observations to complex problems. The field is my happy place.
