Alumni of GeoFORCE and STEMFORCE are invited to participate in the Math and Science Institute 2021. This year’s Institute is from August 9-13, with an additional orientation day on August 6. It will be virtual and mostly synchronous, with some self-paced learning. The Institute is designed to rigorously prepare students entering STEM majors this fall for their college math and chemistry courses. We also have activities and discussion around college life and learning in general, and you are guided through the week by undergraduate Peer Learning Assistants (PLAs).

You do not need to be attending UT Austin to participate, and there is no cost to participate. In addition to receiving instruction in math and chemistry, we will also help you get ready for college in general. You will earn up to $1,000 for your dedicated participation in the Institute.

Contact Dr. Dana Thomas (dthomas@jsg.utexas.edu) with any questions.
