Gateway to Graduate Studies in Science (G2S2)

The Jackson School of Geosciences (JSG) at The University of Texas at Austin invites aspiring graduate students from all STEM majors and all backgrounds to submit an application to attend the JSG Gateway to Graduate Studies in Science (G2S2), November 13-14, 2023. This event (formerly called EDGE in JSG and SURE in CNS) is in-person in Austin, Texas.
Thank you for your interest in G2S2, November 13-14, 2023.
Applications are due by October 2. In the application, please select “Geosciences” and/or “Energy & Earth Resources” as your areas of interest.
At G2S2, you will network with Jackson School of Geosciences faculty and research scientists whose research is of interest to you. You will also meet with current JSG graduate students via a panel and social mixers, learn about the graduate school application process and explore funding opportunities and ways to integrate your background in Geology, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, and other STEM degrees into the geosciences.
This is a free event, and your travel to Austin, lodging and meals are covered!
