Where in the World is GEO 660 June 4?

Over the next few weeks, we will hear from students and faculty as they take the Department of Geological Sciences’ iconic field course, GEO 660. The last blog post is here.

GEO 660 is on the road, currently headed to the Book Cliffs in Utah to study sequence stratigraphy of the Cretaceous Period’s Western Interior Seaway.

As faculty member Matthew Malkowski put it, “We are now in Utah for the coolest part of 660! ;)”
