For access to buildings or rooms, please use forms here (eid required).
When the room is approved by the DGS Front Desk, the submitter will receive an e-mail they have been approved.
Three types of keys are used in the JSG and EPS Buildings.
• Key Fob – New users coordinate with the DGS Front Desk on receiving a key fob. One
key fob will store multiple access codes. Doors which use the key fob system are
programmed in-person by the DGS Front Desk. Allow up to one week for access.
• Proximity-Enabled ID Card – Users must have an ID Card provided by the ID Center (FAC). Allow up to 24-48 hours for access.
• Metal Key – The DGS Front Office will e-mail user a signed form via DocuSign. Print
form and hand deliver to Lock and Key Services (SER101). Forms are good for 30 days from creation date. It is HIGHLY recommended to contact Lock and Key Services prior to visit to confirm staff availability.
11. All key fobs and metal keys must be returned to the JSG Front Office upon graduation or when your appointment with the Jackson School of Geosciences ends. Failure to do so could result in a bar or fine being placed on your record and/or delayed processing of paychecks, diplomas, and transcripts.
