Shannon E LoomisPostdoctoral Fellow, Jackson School of Geosciences
Shannon Loomis (2013-present) received her Ph.D. at Brown University in May 2013. She is interested in developing and applying organic geochemical proxies to reconstruct past climate using lake and marine sediment archives and combining reconstructions with climate models to better understand the mechanisms behind past and future climate change.
Areas of Expertise
Paleoclimate, biogeochemistry, sedimentary geology
