Curriculum Vitae (pdf)

Jaysaval's research has been focused on developing numerical modeling and inversion methods for seismic and electromagnetic (EM) waves propagation in the 2D/3D earth. He has developed several novel large-scale forward modeling methods during his research tenure with the main objective of computing results that are more accurate or reducing total modeling and inversion times. Currently, he is developing inversion algorithms to jointly invert both seismic and EM data.

Areas of Expertise

(1) Large-scale Geophysical Modeling (2) Inversion/Optimization (3) Controlled-Source Electromagnetic (4) Full Waveform Inversion (5) Seismic Imaging (6) Potential Field Methods (7) Direct and Iterative Solvers
