Ms. Uhlman’s career has taken her from industry to academia, specializing in aquifer characterization, water resource development, regulatory compliance, and groundwater modeling. Additionally, Ms. Uhlman has developed innovative field investigatory techniques, generated litigation quality field protocol and standard operating procedures, and provided expert testimony on contaminant hydrogeologic issues and water rights. With nearly 40 years of domestic and international (including residence-abroad) experience directing and conducting projects for managing groundwater-based water supply systems, she has authored numerous publications including the ‘Texas Well Owner’s Guide to Water Supply’, focused on the protection of drinking water quantity and quality for rural well owners. An Executive Editor for the journal GROUNDWATER, Ms. Uhlman is a frequent public speaker.
