Gang Luo received his Ph.D. in computational geodynamics from University of Missouri-Columbia, his M.S. and B.S. in geosciences from Peking University, P.R. China. His primary research interest is computational geodynamics and finite element modeling on stresses and pore pressure in salt basins, wellbore stability, fault interactions, earthquake stress triggering, crustal/lithospheric stress and strain evolution.
