Selected Structural Diagenesis Lectures
In April, Dr. Julia Gale presented Natural Fractures in Shales and their Importance for Gas Production at the 7th Petroleum Geology Conference, Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, London.
Dr. Stephen Laubach presented Fractures in the New Albany Shale: Implications for Development of Effective Drilling and Completion Technologies at the RPSEA Unconventional Gas Review Meeting, Denver, Colorado.
On February 20, 2009, Dr. Stephen E. Laubach gave his first Bureau Centennial lecture (of many) titled How Fractures in Sedimentary Rocks Open and Seal: Insights from Structural Diagenesis at the University of New Mexico, Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences. See the brochure for more information on the Bureau Centennial lectures..
