Ph.D. Harvard University

Great steps in the evolution of life occurred during the early Paleozoic. Sprinkle is especially interested in one of those events, the Ordovician biodiversification. He studies the development of early echinoderms across the Cambro-Ordovician boundary.

His prolific research record has provided the collection with a wealth of remarkable specimens, and he is currently involved as co-PI in our current NSF-sponsored project within the type collection.
