Family and friends of graduates and members of the Jackson School community are invited to be part of an historic event, the first Spring/Summer graduation for the new Jackson School of Geosciences.
James F. Reilly, II, is a deepwater exploration geologist with 20 years of industry experience. He joined NASA in 1994, flying Space Shuttle missions to Mir (1998) and the International Space Station (2001). He is presently assigned to one of the upcoming missions planned for 2006.
His commencement speech will focus on the role that individuals play in the moral, fiscal and physical health of society and the challenges that earth scientists will be facing in the coming years.
