CleanTX is a cluster development organization for clean technology based in Austin, Tx. Its mission is to connect the various facets of the clean energy ecosystem, and support the growth of the clean tech industry through information exchange, economic development, and international trade. It accomplishes this through the advancement of public-private partnerships, leadership on community education, and networking platform for key industry stakeholders such as government, industry, academia, utility and community interests.

Jorge R. Piñon, Director of the Jackson School of Geosciences’ Latin America and Caribbean Energy Program (LACP) and Interim-Director for the Center of International Energy and Environmental Policy (CIEEP) addressed their monthly luncheon networking event on Mexico’s proposed energy reform legislation which would allow greater private sector participation in the oil and gas, and electric power sectors.
