Storm Surge Projection - Texas City, Texas

Mean Sea Level, Texas City, Texas. This shows an actual, baseline view prepared for a sequence of projected views showing the effects of a storm surge on Texas City varying in intensity from 4.5 to 19.0 feet. The projections are based on a theoretical design storm, "Hurricane Carly." TThe images were created for the Governor's Department of Emergency Management by the Center for Space Research at The University of Texas at Austin.
