We are interested in candidates that bring capabilities ranging from ground-based measurement networks, environmental geophysics, remote sensing, to modeling. Opportunities for collaboration exist with expanding programs in climate, energy, geobiology, and surficial processes. We expect to fill two positions: one for a research scientist in the Bureau of Economic Geology or the Institute for Geophysics, and another that could either be a second research scientist in one of these research units or a faculty member in the Department of Geological Sciences. Positions may be filled at the junior, mid career or senior level. The schedule of appointment is negotiable. A Ph.D. is required by the time of appointment.
