Supporting GeoFORCE

GeoFORCE is neither a subtle nor an inexpensive approach. It is designed to provide lasting experiences for middle and high school students that will capture their interest, motivate them to achieve excellence in math and science courses, and build their awareness of opportunities in high-tech careers, especially the geosciences.

GeoFORCE Texas is a strategic priority for the Jackson School, which has dedicated resources to ensure its success.  Because the Jackson School provides all staff time for GeoFORCE, 100% of funds contributed go directly to program activities.

Individuals or companies interested in becoming involved with these fantastic students are encouraged to contact Director of Outreach and Diversity, Samuel Moore (, or Jackson School Director of Development, Belle German (

You can also use the University of Texas’ online giving portal at UTGIVING. Under “notes” you can specify how the contribution is to be used. Contributions from GeoFORCE students or graduates will be added to the Gerson Garcia Scholarship Fund in honor of a GeoFORCE student killed in an auto accident in 2011, unless otherwise directed.
