Academy
Academies run from Friday or Saturday morning through the following Saturday
evening.
Southwest Academies for 2010:
- 9th grade Academy–July 10 - July 17, 2010
- 10th grade Academy–June 5 - June 12, 2010
- 11th grade Academy–July 24 – July 31, 2010
- 12th grade Academy–June 19 - June 26, 2010
Houston Academies for 2010:
- 9th grade Academy – June 5 - June 12, 2010
- 10th grade Academy - June 19 - June 26, 2010
- 11th grade Academy – July 10 - July 17, 2010
- 12th grade Academy – July 24 – July 31, 2010
Each Academy concludes with a semi-formal closing ceremony on the last day. Parents, teachers, and sponsors
are invited and encouraged to attend.
Young Geoscientists Field Course
All Young Geoscientists events run two to four days varying by year and
destination.
Southwest Texas Young Geoscientists Field Courses for 2010:
- 9th grade Field Course – July 6 – July 7, 2010
- 10th grade Field Course – July 11 – July 14, 2010
- 11th grade Field Course – July 18 – July 20, 2010
- 12th grade Field Course - July 27 – July 31, 2010
Houston Texas Young Geoscientists Field Courses for 2010:
- 9th grade Field Course – June 7 - June 9, 2010
- 10th grade Field Course – June 13 – June 16, 2010
- 11th grade Field Course – June 30 – July 2, 2010
- 12th grade Field Course – June 21 – June 26, 2010
