What sparked your interest in geology, energy and the environment?

I've always been fascinated by nuclear power, and other energy alternatives.

Why did you choose UT for your studies?

I already went to the other good school in Texas!

What do you enjoy the most about your studies or research?

Even though the professors are at the top of their field, everyone is still relaxed and personable.

What one research tool could you not live without?

JStor.

What are your career goals?

Project Management of energy development projects, CEO of a Wildcat firm.

Where are you from?

Conroe, Texas.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Beer Brewing, Ranch Work.

What is your favorite rock?

Smoky Quartz.

What fun activity would you recommend to an incoming UT student?

Austin’s natural landmarks: the Moon Towers, Mt. Bonnell and Barton Springs.
