Application Process for EER

Apply Texas

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply electronically via the web because it allows for the most efficient processing possible. Applications and the following requested materials can be sent directly to the two addresses below:

  • Application form, including processing fee
  • One official transcript of all upper division and graduate university work
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test scores taken within the last five years
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) taken within the last two years, for applicants whose native language is not English (unless you have attended an English speaking university for at least four years)

  • Copy of transcript(s) of all upper division and graduate university work
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • A statement of purpose, explaining your interest in graduate education at UT Austin.
  • Curriculum Vitae detailing your work experience

Spring – October 15

Application Deadline for a student to accept/decline position in EER program:

Fall – April 15
Spring – December 2
