Information sessions may be scheduled through GeoSource (in association with your scheduled interviews) or our office. Employers are welcome to come on-campus at any time to meet students and present opportunities at their company. Typically, in the busy fall semester, employers host an Info Session the evening before their scheduled interviews the next day.

The JSG Career Center can accommodate two information sessions each evening at 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (except for Tuesdays when we can only host one Info Session at 5:15 p.m. due to a class conflict).  All information sessions are held in JGB 2.218, a large amphitheater-type classroom that has a complete audio/visual media  podium.  Food and drinks are allowed in this room for catered events. Catering for information sessions must be handled by each employer. We suggest that if your information session is at the 6:30 p.m. timeslot, you provide desert as the employer before you will have ordered a full meal.  Please check our Recommended Catering List to contact a caterer that is familiar with the UT campus and generally, the Jackson Geosciences Building. Info sessions usually attract 15 to 30 students.
