–June, 2014. Beginning Ph.D. student Alissa Kotowski started her Ph.D. project on Syros Island, Greece, with Whitney Behr, Danny Stockli, and Jaime Barnes. See photos from the Greece trip here.
–May, 2014. Whitney and Ph.D. Candidate Peter Gold spent a week in Baja California, Mexico searching for slip rate sites on the Agua Blanca fault.
–May, 2014. Whitney and Ph.D. student Rachel Bernard went xenolith hunting in the Mojave desert of California as part of Rachel’s Ph.D. project funded by the NSF.
–March, 2014. Dr. Behr takes the Microstructure and Rock Rheology class to the Whipple Mountains in eastern California.
–January, 2013. Two JSG undergraduate honors students, Emily Gentry and Taylor Canada, join the Behr Research Group.
